Plans and Strategies

There seems to be a strategy afoot; one that would seem to be coordinated and orchestrated. While reading this post http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/315 on Daniel Pipes blogsite I realised that one of the clear tactics of Muslim populations in the west is to create a false perception round the world of an incipient 'Islamaphobia'. Whether it is trumpeting every case of assault or disrespect that does occur, or of lying to create cases from nothing, there is a highly mobilised corps of Islamists primed to transmit these proofs of the Wests implacable hatred of Islam and ordinary muslims to the ends of the earth.

These people have developed sophisticated, nuanced tactics for exploiting the MSM (mainstream media) in the West, the politically correct legions of the soft left, the infrastructure of 'human rights', the multi-culti psuedo-hippies of the west who love all native peoples except English and American ones and the big-party politicians for whom the emergence of the muslim voice in European politics is annoying but inescapable. For each of these constituencies, the Islamists have concocted a 'story' to tell which fits into their existing world view.

So the story they present to the MSM is the typical minority underdog story, down-trodden and oppressed by the sullen, truculent locals; all they really want is a break and to be allowed to carry on their traditions in peace. For the soft left, there is the whole 'all we really want is justice for the Palestinians against Israeli Zionist fascism. Once that is settled, you probably won't here another peep out of us'. For the 'human rights' industry, the story is of an embattled religeous minority, desperately and respectfully trying to maintain itself in the face of implacable neo-nazi provocation in all the sooty northern towns and post-industrial wastelands. For the multi-culti WOMAD attendees, the Islamists really have to pull out all the stops, and hide some of the biggest facts about REAL Islam. To them, they tell them over and over about what a wonderful culture is attached to Islam, the poetry, the architechture, the amazing learning (mostly stolen from the Greeks of Alexandria and Byzantium, but never mind) and the wonderful peaceful purity of their religion blah blah blah. Last but not least, our poor befuddled mainstream politicians have no choice but to deal with these people as they present themselves although to give them credit some have gone on record with their grave misgivings with some of the cultural and religious baggage of the (especially Pakistani) muslims in Britain; things like so-called honour killings by parents of their own children.

These people have got us sussed, and they are playing us like a fiddle. Thing is, the plain folk of Britain aren't that stupid, and they know that a lot of this twaddle doesn't ring true. So what will give?

Speak truth to... well, everybody

What a strange malaise has come over politicians in the Anglo-spere. Christopher Hitchens says:

The incredible thing about the ongoing Kristallnacht against Denmark (and in some places, against the embassies and citizens of any Scandinavian or even European Union nation) is that it has resulted in, not opprobrium for the religion that perpetrates and excuses it, but increased respectability! A small democratic country with an open society, a system of confessional pluralism, and a free press has been subjected to a fantastic, incredible, organized campaign of lies and hatred and violence, extending to one of the gravest imaginable breaches of international law and civility: the violation of diplomatic immunity. And nobody in authority can be found to state the obvious and the necessary—that we stand with the Danes against this defamation and blackmail and sabotage. Instead, all compassion and concern is apparently to be expended upon those who lit the powder trail, and who yell and scream for joy as the embassies of democracies are put to the torch in the capital cities of miserable, fly-blown dictatorships. Let’s be sure we haven’t hurt the vandals’ feelings.
(Hat-tip Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler)

Actually, Jack Straw, Britains craven Foreign Secretary, has gone completely the opposite direction.

"My remarks were this, to say yes, of course I understand the right of freedom of speech but the right of freedom of speech in all societies and all cultures has to be exercised responsibly and does not extend to an obligation to insult or be gratuitously…."

That is a distortion of the situation worthy of the Imams themselves. No one I've read or heard suggests that newspapers, magazines, websites or News channels have an OBLIGATION to publish material that insults Islam. I can't believe I'm actually going to have to write this down, its so obvious. But of course, those newspapers and magazines will occasionally publish things in the course of their normal activities, that annoy or insult some part of the population. Thats how free speech works. Later in the same interview, Straw says

"I also think, if people look at these cartoons and were to replace the images of the Holy Prophet with images of Jesus Christ or the Virgin Mary, they can see that even in our culture if they were directed at the Judea or Christian traditions, there would be similar outrage."

What a load of unmitigated crap. By the way Jack, you might want to make that Judaic or Jewish rather than Judea, but never mind. The unfortunate and dispiriting fact is that Christianity is constantly lampooned, insulted, blaspemed against by a significant portion of what might be termed militant secularists in Britain, with virtually no riposte. But Jack Straw's moral equivalence gland is working triple-time.

Note: Jack Straw has one of the highest percentages of Muslim voters of any constituency in Britian. Should this man be Britains spokesman to the world?

Tell the lie often enough...

Over and over again, Muslims in Britain repeat the lie that there are 2 million of them in this country. Some even venture higher figures. According to the National Statistics office, the actual figure is 1,591,000. They comprise a mere 2.7% of the population. So why do the media give them blanket coverage? Where are the Jews, the Buddhists, the Hindus and the Sikhs? Oh thats right!! I forgot! They don't bother blowing up tube trains to punish/warn Britain about kow-towing to their religious dictates. So nobody pays them a blind bit of notice. Want to set the cultural and religious pace? Riot and threaten, bomb and bully. It works, folks.

Islams threat to the world

So this is the threat: give as much respect to our top prophet guy as we do, or the consequences will be violent and extreme. But wait, this is the religion of peace talking? Surely not!

The West has created a huge rod for its own back. Over and over and over again, we are instructed by the great Nanny state and its media lackeys to 'understand Islam', to 'learn about other cultures', to 'accept other peoples ways of life'. They have no reverse obligation to learn about ours and respect and accept it. NOooooooooooooooo! That would be silly! That would imply that our culture and values were legitimate and worth fighting for. What exactly do they want us to learn about Islam? They want us to read the Koran?

I want to know where in the Koran its says its ok to:

1. Demonise Jews to the worst extremes of racism and xenophobia? (and if it does, why people in the west might think Islam was a 'good thing'?
2. Behead schoolgirls for being Christian?
3. Murder people in the most public and disgusting ways, as a subtle 'warning' to the rest of us what awaits the world if the Islamic supremacists win?
4. Move to someone elses country to make money, then as soon as you get there, insist that your host country changes all its laws and values to fit in with Islam?
5. Commit violence all over the planet while insisting over and over like a demented mantra that you are a 'religion of peace'?
6. Lie and lie and lie, to yourselves and everybody else, but insist that Mohammed really is a great prophet, and Islam really is a great religion?
7. Portray the west as Islamaphobic, when in fact the west doesn't give a flying fluck about Islam and really really really wishes it would just go away for ever.

Remember you muslims- conspiracy theories are for children and adults of very low IQ.

The Anglosphere goes dud

As far as I know, no mainstream newspapers or magazines in Britain or the US have published the satirical cartoons of Mohammed. So we are the great champions of free speech huh? Hmmm. I guess not. I think that leaves a massive credibility gap. What the hell are we expending billions of dollars and pounds fighting a war against tyranny and dictatorship in the middle east for if we are not willing to support our own values of free speech and the right to express views that some people might find repugnant?
Next time I hear a right wing pundit taking the piss out of the Spanish or the Italians for being lamo's in the great war on terror, I'll point them to El Periodico and La Stampa.

The discussion seems to have started- for real

You gotta read this.

http://newsforums.bbc.co.uk/nol/thread.jspa?threadID=904&&edition=1&ttl=20060202125733

After many many months of mimbling on the topic of how severely western societies are going to be remoulded into Islamic ones, people seem to be on the verge of realizing that these are not whimsical airy fairy theories to be discussed between glasses of chardonnay. There are concrete outcomes when we allow a very small minority in Britain to determine the parameters of debate. Watching the hysterical over-reaction of the Muslim world to a few cartoons has to remind us that WE must keep our sense of proportion, and remind ourselves that we do have values that are important to us.

Fantastic! At last, standing tall for our freedoms!

'La Stampa in Italy, El Periodico in Spain and Dutch paper Volkskrank also carried some of the drawings, while Germany's Die Welt and France Soir reprinted the full set.'

Thank you Europe. At last, people are waking up to the fact that we are seeing a fully-fledged attempt to blackmail the western world fail. We can say what we want to say, and won't let fatwa's and thinly veiled threats of violence stop us.

Thank you Mark Steyn, Little Green Footballs, Knowledge is Power and the rest of you guys.

Refuse to be intimidated- Buy Danish!

I encourage as many newspapers and magazines to reproduce the cartoons of Mohammed that were published in Jyllands-Posten (and subsequently in France Soir).

Islam is not the official religion of Britian, we have free speech here, and these people are TOO PRECIOUS about their religion. They need to grow up.
